Thomas has represented clients in disputes against all levels of government, including local councils, as well as the Queensland and Federal Governments and their various departments.

Thomas has acted in cases related to:

  • Unlawful actions by State and Federal Governments;
  • Claims against the State of Queensland;
  • Employment disputes under the Public Service Act;
  • Judicial review applications (seeking to have government decisions overturned); and
  • Applications and appeals to the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC).

While Thomas does not handle planning and environment disputes, he can refer clients to a trusted network of law firms with expertise in that area.
